Sauvik Acharyya is the quintessential underdog, an undercover ninja who defends the dignity of light and colour. He’s an ad man by day and thespian by night — a black and white fanatic who was possessed by the spirit of shadows and contrast while painting billboards in West Bengal’s Lalbagh, Murshidabad, India.

His lens toting alter ego haunts the concrete clusters, tiger scraped hills and magical forests of Central India during moments of madness away from his job in the very respected Indian National Daily The Hindu, Bhopal.

Sauvik remains true to his roots in the town that’s home to the palace of thousand doors; every image of his has a story with several meanings for every state of his being.

At present, he is associated with the new age business platform, he works as a Creative in-charge and heading the Audio-Visual division in an E-Commerce organization at New Delhi
